Rochelle Brown, the owner of Laconic Blu, is a female entrepreneur from the South Bend, Indiana area. She comes from a family of passionate hat-wearers. Her grandma, who always had a fedora on her head, inspired her to start her business in 2021. Initially, her business only sold hats in African-American sorority and fraternity colors, since Rochelle Brown is a proud Zeta Phi Beta member. The name of her business even hails from her Zeta name: Laconic Blu.
